PollenTec Ultra Flo, PollenTec with Activated Carbon Sorb, PollenTec with Poly-Flo antimicrobial media
Three filter options to best fit your needs.
Option 1: PollenTec, with a dense layer of Poly-Flo antimicrobial media makes a winning combination. Poly-Flo filter media is a high dust retention, antimicrobial filter media. It is flame retardant and self-extinguishing. UL classified and FMVSS302 certified.
Option 2: Carbon Sorb activated carbon pads help by eliminating unpleasant odors and harmful gases such as hydrocarbons, SO2, NOx. This creates a healthy and comfortable climate inside your home, which is particularly important for people both young and old, who suffer from allergies or asthma. The Carbon Sorb pads are not washable and should be replaced every 3-6 months.
Option 3: Ultra-Flo fan filter. This is a single layer of the PollenTec material. Without the Poly-Flo antimicrobial media or Carbon Sorb pads. This will allow increased air flow through your fan, while still capturing a great deal of airborne contaminates in your home.
WHAT IS ACTIVATED CARBON? Activated carbon has an incredibly large surface area per unit volume, and a network of submicroscopic pores where absorption takes place. Activated carbon is a material that is produced from carbonaceous source materials, such as coal, coconuts, nutshells, peat, wood, and lignite.
The primary raw material used for activated carbon is any organic material with a high carbon content. The carbon-based material is converted to activated carbon through physical modification and thermal decomposition in a furnace, under a controlled atmosphere and temperature. The finished product has a large surface area per unit volume and a network of submicroscopic pores where absorption takes place.
